New York Times Rag: Fake News: The Russians Aren’t Coming

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/10/us/politics/comey-russia-investigation-fbi.html

The above story is false.  It was reported by the desperate New York Times on May 10, 2017.  The story claims:

WASHINGTON — Days before he was fired as F.B.I. director, James B. Comey asked the Justice Department for more prosecutors and other personnel to accelerate the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election.

His appeal, described on Wednesday by four congressional officials, was made to Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, whose memo was used to justify Mr. Comey’s abrupt dismissal on Tuesday.

(bold added)

This claim is categorically false according to none other than Justice Department Spokesperson Sarah Flores:

Justice Department spokesperson Sarah Flores denies Comey asked Rosenstein for more resources. She called reporting to the contrary “100% false,” and told reporters she spoke directly with Rosenstein about the reports.

I wouldn’t be so nitpicky but this point, this long arc about how Trump fired Comey just because he was ramping up an investigation into Trump and his ‘Russian Ties’.  It’s rhetoric, not journalism.  It’s also fake news.

So where is the apology?  Will there be one?  Is the New York Times worthy of reading?  Will they be demonetized on YouTube?  Will Google not rank their articles as highly?  Will Pepsi refuse to air ads next to their content?  (These are all questions forced upon alternative news providers.)

Does the New York Times have a clear and obvious agenda which Trumps honest reporting?
