They say “if it bleeds, it leads”. Eva Karpati is concerned that this mantra leads to a world where fear predominates and hinders positive contributions to the world. In order to balance the Ying and Yang in media coverage of our city, Eva launched www.goodnewstoronto.ca . “Good News Toronto” is a publication (online and in print) which “celebrates our everyday heroes”. I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Eva over the past many years and can affirm that Eva is, herself, one of our city’s heroes deserving of any and all the kudos she receives.
