Ronald Prescott Reagan on Stephen Colbert

Ronald Prescott Reagan on Stephen Colbert

Ronald Prescott Reagan (ie, son of former Pres. Ronald Reagan) was on Stephen Colbert.  Some interesting facts emerged.

First, politically he is a liberal.  Colbert quipped “how can you grow up in the house of God and be an atheist?”

Another interesting revelation, almost made as a side note, was Richard Nixon’s anti-Semitism.  I did some research and it turns out that recordings of White House conversations were rife with anti-Semitic remarks.  I would like to have seen the article outline specific actions which were taken based on these sentiments.

To wit, it seems that he supported Israel during its time of need during the Yom Kippur war.  Indeed in Israel, he is remembered as a trusted friend.

It is obvious that the penis referenced in “Tricky Dickey” must refer to an uncircumcised one.  While it’s clear from the recordings that Nixon had anti-Semitic sentiments, it’s unclear how this translated into his foreign policy.
