Avemar and DCA video constitutes without doubt a scientific statement and a medical advice, without any established proof either scientific or medical.
All relevant “medical” or “scientific” information available is created and propagated by one and only authors/organization: the marketers, namely Hidvegi and his co-inventors. ALL the websites in the different countries are proxies of ONE, in Hungary.
The video asserts various – very specific – biochemical, bio-immunological and bio-metabolic actions by Avemar. Those actions – if true – are crucial for the effectiveness of Avemar in treating cancer. Nowhere those biochemical, immunological or metabolic actions are documented in any way in proven, standardized, scientifically accepted trials of any type.
The fact that you call the video “A theoretical protocol” does not diminish the fact that it gives bogus medical advice. Are YOU aware of that and the implications of that?
I specifically during the video warn against self medication and tell people to consult their physician. Please check time index 11:15. I do so several other places as well. I’ll do so again here. Please do not self medicate, consult your physician. This video is intended to get the attention of researchers.

I have followed all of your writings about DCA and more recently Avemar.
I wonder if you have followed the growing interest in theories relating to Warburg that cancer is a metabolic disease? Dr. Thomas Seyfried is perhaps the leading researcher and authority in the field who believes that a ketogenic diet can control cancer growth. As a believer that cutting glucose to cancer cells in essence “starves” them, would Avemar in your opinion, reduce the effectiveness of the low carb approach by feeding glucose to cancer cells?
Any response is appreciated by this melanoma sufferer using DCA in conjuction with a very low carb diet. Thank you.

Just google ‘dichloroacetate’ and there is a mountain of evidence that dca generally helps people.

I wouldn’t want to hazard a guess, especially since I could never determine appropriate dosing.
DCA is safe for your cat. 20 mg/kg of body weight. Lethal dose of DCA is 2800 mg/kg. DCA is VERY safe.
