I came across this strange article while checking my daily weather. Evidently a group of tourists posted nude atop a Malaysian mountain (Mount Kinabalu). According to Malaysian superstition, this is a defaming act which led to the earthquake a whole week later. (Evidently God has a backlog of plagues to unleash).
This same form of nonsense occurred (all through history and recently) when hurricane Katrina befell the United States. Pat Robertson did NOT say it was the result of Ellen DeGeneres being chosen to host the Oscars. He did, along with many others, say it was divine retribution for a lack of morality, and perhaps a dropping intake of donations to religious organizations.
Stop following religion people. It’s dumb.
Also, don’t say to yourself: “Well maybe Malaysian religion is stupid, mine is smart.” No, yours is stupid too. Stop following it.
