This is by far the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, undoubtedly. Unfortunately after a moment of pause, I realized that two people were able to approach a commercial jet liner (our largest: Airbus A380) at what appears to be around 3000-5000 feet. I wonder if they would even show up on radar?
The problem?
The reality of the world causes me to call for this technology to be banned. In this case, fun can’t trump national (world) security. Such technology must be banned from general availability until we, as a society, are ready to have fun with it and only fun.
I fully admit that efforts to squelch this technology will fail ultimately but may perhaps, at least slow it down. It’s better than nothing.
“Military secrets are the most fleeting of all.” In this case, it’s much more accessible than a military secret and I can’t argue with Mr. Spock of Star Trek – he is infallible.
What do you think we should do about this nascent technology?
